Teresa Leah SunRhodes, a 54-year-old woman who loved cooking for her family and gathering her loved ones together, died on Sunday, April 5, 2026, in Casper, Wyoming. She was a beloved resident of Arapahoe, Wyoming, and her passing has left her family and community heartbroken.
Earnest Joseph SunRhodes, Jr. and Mary Rose (Yellowbear) SunRhodes welcomed Teresa into the world on December 9, 1971, in Riverton, Wyoming. She went to Wyoming Indian High School, Chemawa Indian School, and St. Stephen’s School while growing up in the Arapahoe region. She enthusiastically participated in customary rituals and cultural events as an enrolled member of the Northern Arapaho Tribe, taking great pleasure in her Native American background.
She was a devoted wife to Jamie Feazell and a loving mother who found her greatest joy in caring for her family. She loved to cook for them, to bring everyone together around the table, and to spend time with her children and grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Her home was a place of warmth and togetherness, where simple moments became lasting memories.
On Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., funeral services will be place at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church. The deceased will then be buried in the Arapaho Catholic Cemetery. On Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 38 Great Plains Road in Arapahoe, there will be a prayer ceremony at 8:00 p.m., followed by an all-night wake. Family and friends will be able to get together, tell memories, and start the healing process at these get-togethers.
