The 65-year-old beloved resident of Arapahoe, Wyoming, left this world peacefully, leaving his family and the Arapahoe community in deep mourning.

Jude was born on January 1, 1961, in Riverton, Wyoming, and grew up in the Arapahoe area, where he attended St. Stephen’s Indian High School and formed lifelong connections rooted in the values of his upbringing. He remained deeply connected to his community and cultural traditions throughout his life, carrying forward a spirit of resilience and care that shaped his relationships and daily actions.
He was a devoted husband to Elsie Shakespeare and a loving father and grandfather who found his greatest joy in caring for his family. He especially loved cooking for them, gathering everyone together, and spending time with his grandchildren, who were the light of his life.

On Monday, April 13, 2026, funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church. The deceased will then be buried in Arapaho Catholic Cemetery. On Sunday, April 12, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., St. Stephen’s Eagle Hall will host a vigil ceremony with a rosary, followed by an all-night wake.
