The crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. near the intersection of State Road 109 and County Road 200 East, just outside Markleville in Madison County, Indiana.
Authorities identified the victim as 56‑year‑old Nancy Staley of Markleville. She was driving her Jeep Wrangler when the collision occurred. The impact was so severe that Staley was ejected from her vehicle. Emergency responders pronounced her dead at the scene.
