Shortly after 8:20 a.m., in the 200 block of East 103rd Street, an unidentified automobile drew up beside her dark-blue Honda SUV and discharged multiple rounds into the vehicle. Traveling west with a 28-year-old man as a passenger, the driver’s SUV continued briefly before striking a tree; the woman sustained catastrophic injuries and, despite emergency medical efforts, did not survive.
