Isaac Daniel Coleman, 14, beloved son of Daniel and Mindy Coleman, passed away on May 21, 2026, following a courageous battle with stage 3 mouth cancer. His death has left his family, friends, and the many families who followed his journey through his father’s popular children’s show Danny Go! in profound grief.
Isaac was born on October 3, 2011, with Fanconi anemia, a rare inherited genetic disorder that affects bone marrow function and significantly increases cancer risk. He was diagnosed with aggressive mouth cancer in December 2025. Despite the challenges posed by his underlying condition, which limited treatment options, Isaac showed incredible strength as the cancer progressed rapidly.
In February 2026, the family learned the cancer was stage 3 and nearing stage 4 due to its aggressive spread. Although visible tumors were removed, microscopic cancer remained. By April, doctors shifted focus to comfort care with hospice support as the disease continued to advance. Daniel and Mindy canceled the 2026 Danny Go! tour to devote themselves fully to Isaac and their family.
Daniel Coleman, known as “Danny Go!”, shared a heartfelt tribute describing Isaac as a boy full of grit, joy, and a unique spark. He wrote that being Isaac’s dad was the honor of a lifetime and expressed the deep pain of loss while celebrating the fullness of his son’s 14 years.
