On the morning of Thursday, January 15, 2026, a domestic tragedy unfolded in a quiet residential neighborhood of Lakewood, California, resulting in the deaths of three family members. The incident began when deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lakewood Station responded to a 911 call at approximately 7:55 a.m. The call reported an “assault with a deadly weapon” at a home on the 5800 block of Lorelei Avenue, a street near the intersection with South Street.
Upon entering the residence, deputies discovered a horrific scene. In a bedroom, they found 48-year-old Roxana Rodriguez and 17-year-old Sienna Alfaro, both deceased from gunshot wounds. In another part of the home, in the den, they located 52-year-old Hector Alfaro, also deceased from a gunshot wound to the upper body.
A fourth victim, another daughter who is an adult, was found inside the home with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. She was able to provide a crucial account to investigators and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
