Evan Chain Death, Car Accident – Beloved Resident of Fulshear Texas Has Died Unexpectedly

On November 29, 2025, the community of Fulshear, Texas, was heartbroken by the tragic loss of 20-year-old Evan Chain. Evan died in a single-vehicle accident on FM 1093 near Bois D’Arc Lane when his SUV left the roadway and struck a tree around 8:10 p.m. Fort Bend County Sheriff’s deputies and Fulshear Fire Department responded immediately, but despite their efforts, Evan was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash, with speed and road conditions among the factors under review. Toxicology results are pending, and no other vehicles were involved.

Evan grew up in Fulshear and was a 2023 graduate of Fulshear High School. He had a kind-hearted nature and a passion for mechanics, pursuing vocational training in automotive repair after graduation. He worked as a technician at a shop in nearby Katy, where colleagues admired his strong work ethic, quick learning, and positive attitude.

Outside of work, Evan loved spending time outdoors—hunting with his father, fishing on the Brazos River, cheering on the Astros, and working on cars in his driveway. He enjoyed collecting vintage car models and often volunteered at local youth car shows, sharing his enthusiasm with the next generation.

Evan was a devoted son to his mother Shawnda Chain and a loving brother and family member. He cherished weekend drives, family meals, and holiday gatherings, creating lasting memories with those he held dear.

Though his life ended far too soon, Evan Chain will be remembered for his warmth, his adventurous spirit, and the genuine connections he built with everyone around him.

Funeral arrangements will be shared by his family in the coming days. As Fulshear mourns his loss, the community holds his loved ones close, honoring a young man whose kindness and joy touched so many lives.
