Cameron Hoilette, 28, passed away tragically on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025, in Maitland, Florida. His life was cut short in a violent incident that has left his family, friends, and community in deep mourning.
Authorities reported that Cameron was fatally shot in the face by 31‑year‑old Jon Christopher Fuller inside an apartment at the Summit Centre Way complex in Maitland. The confrontation occurred while Cameron was helping his coworker, Nila Lindsey, braid hair.
Fuller, identified as Lindsey’s boyfriend, allegedly entered the apartment in a jealous rage and shot Cameron. Police arrived shortly after noon and found Cameron deceased in a back bedroom. Fuller was arrested and charged with second‑degree murder, and is currently being held without bond in Orange County Jail after pleading not guilty on December 1, 2025.
