When she met John Kelso, Jr. in July 1970 while working at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital, her life took a wonderful turn. Together, they raised Byron and Melissa, two kids, creating a family full of joy, hard work, and adventures.
After relocating to North Carolina in 1980, Brenda and John continued to raise their family and put in a lot of effort to support them. Brenda’s identity revolved around her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother, and she gave her all to provide a stable and loving existence for everyone around her. Following their retirement, Brenda and John enthusiastically embarked on a new chapter in their lives. They bought an RV and spent more than ten years touring the nation as full-time RVers.
