The Jeep she was riding in veered off the road on State Route 65 in Franklin County, Florida, south of Brickyard Road near Eastpoint, struck a tree, and caught fire. Despite the efforts of first responders, Jaylyn and two other teens were pronounced deceased at the scene, while a fourth teen was airlifted in critical condition.
