Willis Johnson, 34, Ohio man identified as victim killed in inside Toledo home


A fatal shooting occurred on the evening of Saturday, January 10, 2026, inside a residence on the 300 block of Rockingham Street in Toledo. Officers from the Toledo Police Department responded to a dispatch call at approximately 9:00 p.m. and located an adult male, deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim has been identified as Willis Johnson, age 34.

A subsequent autopsy performed by the Lucas County Coroner’s Office determined the cause of death to be homicide. The victim sustained two ballistic wounds to the cranium, one to the cervical region, and one to the dorsal torso. The severity and location of these injuries were unsurvivable.
