He entered into marriage with Crystal Doehrman on May 30, 1998, in Churubusco, initiating a twenty-seven-year partnership. His long-held aspiration for fatherhood was fulfilled with the arrival of their three children: Jordan, Hunter, and Nathaniel, who became the focal point of his existence. He derived immense satisfaction from his responsibilities as a spouse and parent, valuing the affection and shared happiness of his household.
Vocationally, he specialized in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, operating most recently as a self-employed technician.
