Stephen Stamm, 23, of Egg Harbor, died in a single-vehicle collision, leaving the Door County community in grief. The tragic collision happened in the Town of Sevastopol on the evening of Friday, February 6, 2026.
The precise location of the incident was on State Highway 57, just east of its intersection with State Highway 42. Authorities were notified of the crash at approximately 8:36 p.m. after Stamm’s vehicle, a 2008 Pontiac, was traveling northbound. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole.
Stephen Stamm was the only occupant of the vehicle. He sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders.
