In a residential and agricultural region of the county, the event took place on Meetze Road close to the intersection of Old Meetze Road and Rodgers Drive.
Responding deputies and emergency crews discovered a scene of significant damage involving a passenger vehicle and a large pickup truck. The passenger car was identified as a southbound 2012 Toyota Corolla driven by 47-year-old Stephanie Miller of Midland, Virginia. The other vehicle involved was a 2025 Ford F-550 Super Duty flatbed work truck owned and operated by Dominion Energy.
According to the preliminary investigation, Stephanie Miller was traveling southbound on Meetze Road when, for reasons still under investigation, her Toyota Corolla crossed the centerline into the northbound lane.
