He enlisted in 2021 completed Basic Combat Training at Fort Moore Georgia and joined the 2nd Brigade Combat Team 10th Mountain Division Light Infantry.
Colleagues admired his determination and willingness to support those around him during his deployment to Iraq in 2023 with Headquarters and Headquarters Company 2nd Battalion 14th Infantry Regiment where he demonstrated steady professionalism even under pressure.
