Robert Armando Duke Cendali, known to many as “Bobby,” of Boulder, Colorado, passed away unexpectedly on May 15, 2026, at the age of 33. Born on July 18, 1992, his sudden departure has left a deep void in the hearts of his family, friends, and the Boulder community. Those who knew him remember a vibrant, passionate young man whose energy and kindness touched everyone around him.
Bobby grew up in Boulder and built lifelong friendships through his involvement in football, baseball, and swim teams during his youth. He graduated from The Hill School in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, in 2011 and later attended the University of Colorado. He remained deeply connected to his hometown throughout his life, where he became a familiar and well-liked presence in local circles.
Known by many as “Chef Bobby,” he took great pride in his work as a chef and had a true passion for food. Whether he was cooking for the people he loved, smoking meats for big events, or searching for the best sandwich around, his enthusiasm for the culinary world shone through. He brought creativity and joy to the kitchen and made every meal a memorable experience.
An avid Denver Broncos and Colorado Buffaloes football fan from his early days, Bobby was always ready to share his enthusiastic support for his teams. He could be counted on to show up in team colors on the coldest and snowiest of days, displaying the same loyalty and spirit that defined many aspects of his personality.
Bobby will be deeply missed by his loving family and the wide circle of friends who cherished his company, laughter, and warm heart. His presence brought comfort and inspiration to those around him, and the memories they shared will continue to uplift them in the days ahead.
