McKaylee Chey Hubbard, born April 9, 1996, in Amarillo, Texas, passed away on May 17, 2026, at the age of 30 in Borger, Texas. Her sudden departure has left family, friends, and the Borger community heartbroken. Those who knew McKaylee remember a vibrant woman whose love, joy, and strong faith created a lasting impact on everyone around her.
McKaylee made her home in Borger, where she built deep connections and lived with purpose. She cherished the bonds she shared with loved ones and remained present to celebrate their joys and support them through challenges. Her warm and caring nature made her a source of comfort and encouragement for many.
She loved her God deeply and maintained a fierce, personal relationship with her Lord and Savior. McKaylee believed fully in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This strong faith guided her life and brought her peace, strength, and a joyful spirit that touched all who knew her.
McKaylee is survived by her daughter, Evelyn Grace “Sissy Girl” White, and Evelyn’s father Daniel White of Borger. She is also survived by her mother Shanna Guerrero and husband Joe of Borger, along with grandparents, siblings Alana Orona, Stetson Vinson, Ty Clawson, step-brother Kendall Clawson, nephew Eli Orona, and her beloved dogs Zuesy Boy and Hera.
To honor McKaylee’s memory, visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors in Borger. The funeral service is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Grace Church in Borger, with Bro. Billy Paul Vinson officiating. Services are under the direction of Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.
As the Borger community comes together to remember McKaylee Chey Hubbard, loved ones celebrate a life filled with love, faith, and cherished moments. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to support her nine-year-old daughter Evelyn Grace White. Though her time was far too short, McKaylee’s legacy of joy and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
