Angus James MacEachron, born May 26, 2000, passed away suddenly on May 16, 2026, in the Schaumburg, Illinois area, just ten days before his 26th birthday. His unexpected death has created a deep void in the hearts of his family and friends. Those who knew Angus remember a compassionate, funny, smart, and creative young man who lived with a gentle strength and a genuine desire to help others.
Angus made his home in the Schaumburg and Machesney Park region, where he built meaningful connections and embraced life with passion. He found great joy in creative pursuits, drawing, working with his hands, and using his imagination. An avid and passionate gardener, he took pride in bringing new life to the plants and spaces he tended.
A real-life superhero in the eyes of many, Angus would rather safely capture and release a spider than harm any living being. He jumped at opportunities to protect and support people in need, showing a kind and protective nature. He deeply cherished the family he had created and poured his heart into caring for them.
Angus is survived by his fiancée Anna Brown and their newborn daughter Aurora MacEachron, who was only four weeks old at the time of his passing. He is also survived by his sisters Sierra MacEachron and Courtney Bauman, his mother and stepfather Christina and Rob Bauman, his father Donnie MacEachron, and many other loving relatives and friends. He also shared his world with his beloved husky, Calliope “Opie” MacEachron.
His sudden passing has left his loved ones navigating immense grief while caring for their newborn. A fundraiser has been established to support Anna and Aurora as they take time to grieve and recover.
A Celebration of Life for Angus James MacEachron will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services LTD in Schaumburg, Illinois, with visitation from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. followed by the service at 6:30 p.m. As family and friends gather to honor his memory, they celebrate a warm-hearted young father whose light, creativity, and love will continue to live on through his daughter and all whose lives he touched.
