McKaylee Chey Hubbard Death – Beloved Resident of Borger, Texas, Has Died Unexpectedly at 30

McKaylee Chey Hubbard, born April 9, 1996, in Amarillo, Texas, passed away on May 17, 2026, at the age of 30 in Borger, Texas. Her sudden departure has left family, friends, and the Borger community in profound grief. Those who knew McKaylee remember a vibrant free spirit with a gypsy soul whose infectious smile and laughter lit up every room she entered.

McKaylee made her home in Borger, where she lived with passion and authenticity. She loved life fully and shared her energy generously with those around her. Family and friends recall her as the life of the party, highly intelligent, and always ready for adventure, whether riding motorcycles, spending time at the lake, sitting by a fire with friends, or entertaining with her grilling skills.

A talented artist with dreams of becoming a tattoo artist, McKaylee brought creativity and joy into many lives. She had a fierce relationship with her faith and loved her God deeply, believing fully in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Her strong spiritual foundation guided her vibrant approach to everyday living.

Nothing brought McKaylee more joy than her family. Affectionately known as “Aunt Cray Cray,” she cherished her role as a mother above all else. Her greatest accomplishment was being Momma to her beloved nine-year-old daughter, Evelyn Grace “Sissy Girl” White. The two enjoyed doing life together through playing pool, coloring, arts and crafts, and listening to music.

She is survived by her daughter Evelyn Grace White and father Daniel White of Borger, her mother Shanna Guerrero and husband Joe of Borger, grandparents Lana and Doug Tipton and Patsy and Randy Hubbard of Borger, sisters Alana Orona and Stetson Vinson, brother Ty Clawson, step-brother Kendall Clawson, nephew Eli Orona, and her beloved dogs Zuesy Boy and Hera, along with a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation for McKaylee will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors in Borger. A funeral service will follow on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. at Grace Church with Bro. Billy Paul Vinson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to her daughter Evelyn Grace White through any Amarillo National Bank, designated as the McKaylee Hubbard Memorial. As the Borger community gathers to honor her, they celebrate a life lived boldly, with love, laughter, and deep family devotion.
