It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lisa Davia, 60, of Midlothian, who departed this life on December 22, 2025. A devoted nurse and a warm presence in the community, Lisa’s gentle care and steady compassion left an enduring mark on patients, colleagues, and neighbors across the region.
Lisa’s nursing career spanned many rewarding years, during which she combined technical skill with heartfelt humanity. Known for a calming bedside manner and an attentive approach to care, she comforted countless people during difficult moments and earned the respect of medical teams for her professionalism and empathy.
Beyond her clinical work, Lisa was beloved for her infectious laugh and radiant spirit. Friends and family often recalled how her laughter could brighten the hardest days, turning ordinary moments into treasured memories. Her approachable warmth made her not only a trusted caregiver but also a cherished friend to many.
At the center of Lisa’s life was her family. She is survived by her daughter, Lea Davia, with whom she shared an exceptionally close bond, and her sister Jennifer (Greg) Estes. Their tight‑knit circle provided mutual support and comfort, reflecting the deep loyalty and love that defined Lisa’s relationships.
Lisa’s kindness extended into the wider community through small, meaningful acts—checking on neighbors, offering a listening ear, and stepping in to help whenever needed. Her generosity of spirit enriched Midlothian and the surrounding areas, creating ripples of care that will be remembered by many.
A memorial service to celebrate Lisa’s life will be held December 29, 2025, at Hickey Memorial Chapel, with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. and the service at 7:00 p.m. Family, friends, and community members are invited to gather, share stories, and honor a life defined by compassion, laughter, and deep human connection.
