Shortly after his release, on New Year’s Eve 1971, he wed his high school girlfriend, Cynthia Inglis.

Professionally, Larry embarked on a distinguished career in manufacturing, beginning in 1978 at a plant in Bedford, Indiana. His expertise and leadership skills led to significant international opportunities, including transfers to the Enfield manufacturing plant near London, England, from 1990 to 1993, and the Székesfehérvár manufacturing plant near Budapest, Hungary, from 1997 to 2001.
As a fuel systems manufacturing supervisor, he demonstrated technical proficiency and managerial excellence, earning the respect of colleagues across continents. These experiences broadened his worldview and allowed him to build connections with people from diverse cultures, enriching his personal and professional life.
