Born on June 28, 1990, in Wichita, Kansas, she relocated with her family to Edmond at age five, where the values of community and care shaped the course of her life.
McBride dedicated more than seven years to emergency medical work, beginning as an EMT before advancing to paramedic and ultimately earning promotion to District Chief at EMSA. Known for her calm presence in crises and her fierce empathy, she consistently went beyond the call of duty to support those in need. Her professional journey reflected a deep sense of purpose and devotion to public service.
She shared her life with her wife, Miranda, whom she met in 2021, and together they built a joyful home with their three dogs—Beth, Aero, and Elie. She was a beloved daughter to Cindy McBride, sister to Kylie Glover and Josh McBride, and a devoted aunt to nieces Faith, Brooklynn, Presley, Mia, and Emmeline, as well as nephews Oaklan and Steyr. Her protective and nurturing spirit enriched every family gathering.

A public viewing will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., followed by a celebration of life on Friday, December 12, at 2:00 p.m., both at Hahn‑Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Directors, 6600 Broadway Extension, Oklahoma City. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Pivot, the Rainbow Youth Project, or the Diversity Center of Oklahoma, honoring her wishes.
