The grassroots football community in Wakefield and across West Yorkshire is mourning the devastating loss of Ella Lynch, a talented and courageous 10-year-old player with Wakefield AFC Juniors U10s, who passed away peacefully after a brave battle with a rare form of liver cancer.

Her sudden passing has left an unimaginable void for her family, teammates, coaches, school friends, and everyone privileged to have known her bright smile and fearless heart.
