It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Donald Lenzner. The 72-year-old beloved resident of Weston, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026, at his home while under the compassionate care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services and Rennes Health and Rehab Center.
He was surrounded by his three loving daughters in his final moments. His gentle departure has left a quiet but profound void in the hearts of his family and the Weston community, where he was known for his steady presence and kind nature.
The late Roy and Victoria (Krall) Lenzner gave birth to Donald in Wausau, Wisconsin. After graduating from Wausau West High School in 1972, he went on to Northcentral Technical College to obtain an associate’s degree in marketing. He built a house full of love and small pleasures that his family would always treasure by living a life based on peaceful devotion and family values.
Donald found fulfillment in his work and the everyday moments spent with family and friends. He was a devoted father who took great pride in his children and grandchildren, always offering quiet encouragement and a steady hand when it was needed most. His presence brought a sense of comfort and stability to those around him, and he was remembered for his straightforward honesty and the gentle way he showed care.
Donald is survived by his three daughters, as well as extended family members who will carry forward the memories of his loving spirit. He was a man who cherished family above all else, creating a lifetime of shared moments that now serve as the greatest comfort for those he leaves behind. His family holds close the warmth and dedication he showed throughout his 72 years, finding strength in the bonds he nurtured with such care.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church in Wausau, with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. These services will give family and friends a meaningful space to gather, share stories of Donald’s life, and begin healing while honoring the man who meant so much to so many in the Wausau and Weston area.
Donald Lenzner will be remembered as a devoted father and family man whose quiet strength, integrity, and love for his children and grandchildren left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. Though his time with us has ended peacefully at his home in Weston, the warmth and dedication he shared endure in the hearts of his daughters and all whose lives he touched.
