He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he founded the campus chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and captained the football team. His lifelong love for leadership, mentoring, and inspiring others to realize their full potential was sparked by these early encounters.

Chris possessed a tenacious work ethic and built his career around helping people grow professionally and personally. He served as Vice President of Sales for Optum Insights, where colleagues respected him for his integrity, strategic vision, and genuine care for his team. He was known for coaching and inspiring those around him—whether guiding sales professionals to exceed goals or offering thoughtful advice that helped individuals advance in their careers.
