It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Casima Cash (Brianna Collins). The beloved 26 year old resident of Layton, Utah, born December 16, 1999, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026 after a quietly battled illness. Her gentle departure has left an ache that runs deep through her family and friends, yet it has also brought them together to hold close the vibrant, adventurous spirit that made every day brighter simply because she was in it.
From the start, Casima’s brave and open heart was evident in her love, joy, spontaneity, and feistiness. She embraced a life full of freedom, independence, and adventure. Whether it was via quiet times of introspection or audacious ventures into the unknown that kept her soul alive and free, she tackled every new experience with contagious energy and a ready to pursue whatever appealed to her.
Having her in our life will always make them better. How much we love you, darling daughter, and how much we shall miss you. Through shared laughter, impromptu excursions, and the unwavering support she provided, she made sure her family felt valued by bringing the same warmth and fierce spirit into every interaction.
She is survived by her mother Colleen (Craig), father Thomas “TC” (Lisa), siblings Brittani, Taylor (Lyla), and Alexis, nephew Haiden, grandmother Charlene Leach, grandparents Glenn and Arlene Collins, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will carry her spirit forward. She was preceded in death by her grandfather William “Bill” Leach and cousin Jennica Jarvis.
In the weeks since her peaceful passing, the family has leaned on one another and the outpouring of shared stories, finding small comforts in recollections of her contagious laugh and the way she made every moment feel full of possibility.
