Casey grew up and lived in Lancaster, Missouri, where he attended Schuyler R-1 High School and would have graduated with the class of 2027. He stayed active in his local community, forming strong connections through school and extracurricular activities. Family and neighbors recall how he brought a steady, positive presence to daily life in the area he called home.
A cherished son, loyal friend, and pillar of support, Casey touched many lives with his generosity and compassion. He was a member of the Schuyler FFA, played on the Schuyler R-1 High School football and baseball teams, participated in Schuyler FCA, and served as a junior firefighter for the Lancaster Fire and Rescue. These involvements highlighted his dedication and willingness to contribute wherever needed.
Casey found great joy in the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, spending time with his truck, and embracing nature. These passions reflected his active and grounded personality. Friends and family remember his kind heart, supportive nature, and the easy way he connected with others through shared experiences and quiet encouragement.
He is survived by his parents Spencer Starrett and wife Amanda of Lancaster, and Trinity Sowers and husband Travis of Brunswick, Missouri. Casey also leaves behind brothers Hayden Williams, Jace Miller, Vernon Sowers, and Ivan Sowers, along with many grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a wide circle of friends who held him dear.
