Alejandro Villalobos Obituary, Death – Cherished Son and Resident of Taylor, Texas, Has Died at 22

Alejandro Villalobos, affectionately known as Alex, of Taylor, Texas, passed away on May 15, 2026, at the age of 22. Born on June 20, 2003, his sudden departure has left his family and the Taylor community in deep sorrow. Those who knew Alejandro remember a joyful, charismatic young man whose bright smile and warm personality could light up any room.

Alejandro grew up in Taylor, deeply rooted in the traditions of the local Mexican-American community. He was the beloved son of Constantino Villalobos Sánchez and Dellanira Cardona Ortega, and a cherished brother to Frida and Eduardo Villalobos Cardona. From a young age, he showed a love for sports and family, often calling himself “Alex Pelotas” because of his early passion for balls and athletics.

He played in the Taylor Little League, served as an altar boy at his church where he completed his sacraments, and graduated from Taylor High School with the Class of 2021. There he excelled in football, playing both defensive and offensive positions.

Alejandro later attended the University of Texas at San Antonio to study electrical engineering before joining the National Guard, where he trained as a diesel mechanic and found a strong sense of purpose in serving his country.

A passionate mechanic and skateboarder, Alejandro shared a close bond with his friends Xavier, Ricky, and Paco. Together they opened Busy Boys Performance, a shop where they worked on cars, shared countless laughs, and built lasting memories. His energy, sense of humor, and big heart left a lasting impression on everyone who crossed his path.

Visitation for Alejandro will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, with a Rosary following at 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Taylor. These gatherings will provide an opportunity for loved ones to come together, share stories, and celebrate his life and faith.

As family and friends gather to honor Alejandro Villalobos, they celebrate a young life filled with love, laughter, faith, and passion. Though taken far too soon, his memory, smile, and the warmth he shared so freely will continue to uplift and comfort all who knew him. His legacy of joy and kindness will live on in the hearts of his family and community.
