He was born in Kingston on July 21, 1994, to Philip and Christina Ferrara, he lived his entire life within the Hudson Valley region. He completed his secondary education at Kingston High School in 2012. Ferrara applied his technical aptitude to establish and operate Quadcross Customs, a business specializing in the repair of small engines.
His work combined meticulous craftsmanship with a personal interest in vehicle modification, providing dependable service to customers in the Rosendale area. Those familiar with his professional endeavors admired his resourceful approach, a quality that informed both his mechanical work and his general outlook.
His family was the cornerstone of his life. He is survived by his parents, Philip and Christina Ferrara of Rosendale; his children, Amelia and Aiden, whose mother is Marque Lent of Cottekill; and his brother, Vincent G. Ferrara, also of Cottekill. A network of aunts, uncles, and cousins further enriched his familial connections, with regular gatherings serving as affirmations of shared history and mutual care.
He found his deepest happiness in moments spent with his children, Amelia and Aiden, encouraging their interests through practical, creative tasks that reflected his own inventive disposition. Pastimes such as restoring engines became opportunities for family interaction, constructing enduring memories alongside mechanical objects. This commitment illustrated a life focused on guiding and supporting the next generation with attentive energy.
A visitation for Nicholas Ferrara will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2025, at the George J. Moylan Funeral Home Inc., located at 2053 Route 32. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, led by Rev. Arlene Dawber, with burial to follow at Rosendale Plains Cemetery.
