Harrison Foster Zenna, a cherished Chester, New Jersey native, tragically died on September 20, 2025. His age was twenty-two. After a protracted fight with cancer, which he fought with great bravery and fortitude with the support of his devoted family, Harrison passed away at home.
Born in Rockaway, New Jersey, he was a 2021 graduate of West Morris Mendham High School. Harrison was widely known and admired for his talent and dedication as a baseball player, excelling as a catcher and designated hitter for the Mendham Minutemen. His skill, sportsmanship, and commitment on the field made a lasting impression on teammates, coaches, and the school community.
Beyond his athletic achievements, Harrison was known for his positive outlook, approachable nature, and quiet strength. He possessed a natural ability to connect with others, forming friendships built on mutual respect and shared experiences. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and the deep loyalty he showed to his friends and family.
Harrison is survived by his parents, John “Jeff” and Lori Zenna of Chester; his brothers, Brooks and Bennett; his grandparents, Eleanor Zenna, John and Betty Clark, and Audrey and Dennis Wetzel. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Zenna, Jr.
The family received friends and relatives on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the William J. Leber Funeral Home in Chester. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, September 26, 2025, at St. Lawrence Church in Chester. His final resting place is at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester.

His passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of his family, friends, and the Chester community, who will cherish the memory of his kind spirit and the positive impact he made during his life.
