Erin’s career at the University at Albany began in 2018, when she joined the College of Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security, and Cybersecurity. From the outset, she distinguished herself as an indispensable presence, shaping academic pathways for students pursuing careers in fields that demand resilience, responsibility, and clarity of purpose.
She understood the unique challenges faced by those studying emergency management and cybersecurity, and she met those challenges with tailored advising, careful course planning, and encouragement that instilled confidence.
Her philosophy was always student-centered. Erin believed in helping individuals discover their strengths, overcome obstacles, and prepare for success both inside and outside the classroom. In a college dedicated to preparing students for high-stakes professions, her steady guidance provided the foundation many needed to thrive.
As Director of Student Experiences, Erin expanded opportunities for professional development, internships, and experiential learning. She championed their success with the same dedication she had shown throughout her career, ensuring that their academic progress remained a priority alongside athletic achievement.
