Two teenage friends lost their lives in a suspected hit-and-run crash in the Alway area of Newport, Wales, during the early hours of Thursday, May 7, 2026. Jaydon Bowyer, 19, and Ta-Shay Canoville, 16, were riding a motorbike on Aberthaw Road when a BMW struck them near a roundabout. The force of the collision threw both teens from the bike.
