Billy Royce Langford Jr “Bill” Death – Community of Calhoun, GA, Mourns Passing of Beloved Member

Billy Royce Langford Jr., affectionately known as Bill, passed away on January 5, 2026, and his family and friends in Georgia are in grief. With a legacy of commitment as a husband, father, brother, son-in-law, and beloved friend, Bill passed away quietly surrounded by affection.

Bill’s enormous heart and exuberant spirit will live on in people’s memories. He loved taking lengthy motorbike trips on winding mountain roads because it gave him a sense of liberation and happiness. His family and friends frequently remember his finest BBQ as the focal point of get-togethers because of his unparalleled grilling prowess. Above all, Bill had a talent for genuinely seeing, supporting, and caring about others.

Every action he took demonstrated his devotion for his family. Bill is survived by his devoted wife, Renee Langford, who accompanied him on his trip and supported him through both the good times and the bad. He was a loving grandfather to Sarahlynn Roksandich, Wyatt Roksandich, Elijah Roksandich, and Alina Culp, and a proud father to his daughters, Haley Culp (Jordan Culp) and Chelsi Martin (Connor Martin). Additionally, he leaves behind Julie Jackson, his mother-in-law, who loved him very much.

Bill’s family found joy and strength in his presence, and they will always be motivated by his memory. Those who continue his legacy will find inspiration in his humor, support, and unshakable love.

On January 9, 2026, Pastor Brad Cooper will preside over a funeral ceremony honoring Bill’s life at The Church at Liberty Square. The funeral ceremony will take place at 1:00 p.m., however family and friends are welcome to come for visiting starting at 11:00 a.m. This get-together will be an opportunity to remember him, celebrate his life, and find solace in one another.

Even though Bill’s journey is over, everyone who had the good fortune to know him will always carry his spirit with them. His memory will live on in Georgia and beyond because of his generosity, love of exploration, and commitment to family.
